He discovered his passion for photography while advocating for social causes in Venezuela\, and in 2015 emigrated to Miami\, where he began a new chapter dedicated to visual storytelling. \n\n\n\nHis current work focuses on Redland Market Village in Homestead\, Florida\, where he documents the lives of immigrants\, primarily from Mexico and Central America\, who gather around this vibrant marketplace. Through his lens\, Cali highlights cultural traditions\, daily struggles\, and aspirations\, showcasing the resilience and diversity that shape South Florida’s social fabric. His photography goes beyond the technical\, seeking the essence of people and the untold stories that live beneath the surface. \n\n\n\n\n\nLucía Marcano\n\n\n\nLucía Marcano is a photographer\, designer\, editor\, and curator born in France\, raised in Venezuela\, with over two decades in Spain and currently based in Germany. She is the co-founder of Doublepage\, an editorial and curatorial boutique dedicated to photobooks and visual storytelling\, where she develops projects that weave together photography\, design\, and narrative. \n\n\n\n\n\nRoberto Mata\n\n\n\nRoberto Mata is a Venezuelan photographer and educator with more than three decades of experience. He is the founder of Roberto Mata Taller de Fotografía (RMTF) in Caracas and Miami\, and co-founder of Doublepage\, an editorial and curatorial boutique dedicated to photobooks and visual storytelling. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAdditional Information\n\n\n\nPlease see below for additional information regarding the program.
