SUMMARY:Everglades Imprint
DESCRIPTION:NWD Projects\, in collaboration with HistoryMiami Museum\, presents Everglades Imprint\, a performance installation of dance\, live music\, and film. Choreographer Dale Andree and filmmaker Claudio Marcotulli will lead a 30-minute workshop called “Capturing Nature’s Movement Through the Camera’s Eye\, ” followed by a dance performance to the musical accompaniment of Samuel Tommie\, a citizen of the Seminole Nation. Dancers will then lead the audience into the Museum to view Miana Jun’s photography exhibition\, Everglade’s Impressions. Guests will then enjoy the premier screening of the dance film titled “Everglades Imprint” in the museum’s theatre.
