Free Family Fun Day: Pirates and Sea Monsters

Ahoy landlubbers and sea mates alike! Come onboard and sail away with us on a thrilling adventure. Discover and learn about the fantastical world of sea monsters and pirates on our voyage through time. Join us if ye dare in the most mysterious of ocean journeys — from the scaly sea serpent to the legendary Kraken and even the alluring sirens themselves. Join local author Marie Ketsia Theodore-Pharel at 1pm and 2pm for a reading of her book A Fish Called Tanga.

Family Fun Days are from 10am to 4pm, with activities from 11am to 3pm. Family Fun Day programming is subject to change without notice.
Family Fun Days are possible with the support of the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs, the Cultural Affairs Council, the Mayor and the Board of County Commissioners, the Miami Downtown Development Authority, the Batchelor Foundation, and the Peacock Foundation.
