DESCRIPTION:Join a Museum Educator every Saturday for story followed by a related art activity. Free for participating children. Caregivers must pay general museum admission. \nJuly 1st – Join us for an afternoon with “The Rocket’s Red Glare: Celebrating the History of the Star Spangled Banner” and create a flag inspired work of art. \nJuly 15th – Learn about the Statue of Liberty\, how it stands today as a symbol of freedom\, and why it took more than a decade to build. Design your liberty crown and torch. \nJuly 22nd –Learn about the principles on which our country was founded with “The Story of America’s Birthday” and create a patriotic windsock. \nJuly 29th – How much do you know about the Liberty Bell?
