With over twenty years of academic experience\, he has taught courses in architecture\, interior design\, and history. He was a Fulbright scholar in Mexico in 2022. He has curated architectural exhibitions focusing on Miami’s historic architecture\, including A Concrete Presence: The Architecture of Miami Dade College 1960-70\, Miami Bungalows\, and Opa Locka Mirage City. Currently\, he serves on the board of directors of the Vernacular Architecture Forum. \n\n\n\n\n\nPaul S. George\, Ph.D.Resident Historian\n\n\n\nFor over three decades\, HistoryMiami Museum’s Resident Historian Dr. Paul S. George has toured his way to local\, national\, and international acclaim with his continuing series of historic tours. Through walking\, coach\, and boat tour experiences\, Dr. George has welcomed tour participants on a memorable journey of South Florida through its historic neighborhoods\, landmarks\, and sites.
