Our In-Community programs bring the museum beyond its walls and into community spaces\, offering hands-on activities for families and all ages. Participants can explore history through interactive art making activities and engage with objects from the Museum’s education teaching collection. Designed to spark curiosity and creativity\, these programs invite families to learn together\, connect with local stories\, and experience history in fun\, accessible ways right where they live. \n\n\n\nAbout Miami Riverday:\n\n\n\nA historic waterfront park comes alive with cultural performances\, educational activities and scenic boat tours along the Miami River. Miami Riverday 2026\, celebrating its 27th year\, returns to Lummus Park Historic District on Saturday\, April 11th.
