Delve into the past with a facilitator-led interactive experience of the Museum’s education collection. Program suitable for all ages; free Museum admission with participation.
Tropical Dreams: A People’s History of South Florida
Saturdays & Sundays at 2:00 pm.
Take a guided tour of the Museum’s core exhibition, Tropical Dreams: A People’s History of South Florida. The tour will cover the birth of Miami, pre-Columbian civilizations, and South Florida pioneer life. Tours differ each day based on the Museum educator’s background knowledge and areas of interest. Tour is approximately 40 minutes.

Black Citizenship in The Age of Jim Crow
Saturdays at 11 am. Ends Saturday, February 4, 2023.
Take a guided tour of the exhibition Black Citizenship in The Age of Jim Crow. Explore the struggle for full citizenship and racial equality that unfolded in the 50 years after the Civil War. Tour is approximately 40 minutes.
