July 19 @ 12:00 pm 2:00 pm

Step into the golden age of spring break with the kickoff of HM Toast to the Classics, our new film series celebrating iconic movies set in Miami and Fort Lauderdale. We’re kicking things off with the 1960 spring break classic, Where The Boys Are, a sun-soaked, coming-of-age comedy that follows four college friends from Penmore University who head south searching for sunshine, adventure, and maybe even a little romance. What starts as a lighthearted getaway quickly becomes a journey of self-discovery, love, and unexpected life lessons.

We will have a pre-film discussion featuring fashion historian Cece Feinberg, who will explore 1960s fashion trends and the societal impact of swimwear during this period.

Enjoy complimentary refreshments, classic film vibes, and enjoy a film that helped define a generation—on the big screen at HistoryMiami Museum.
