Explore, savor, and connect during this intimate, behind-the-scenes experience at Rancho Patel, a two-acre farm in Homestead where Chef Niven Patel cultivates ingredients that inspire his award-winning dishes. Chef Niven, a Michelin awarded and James Beard Semi Finalist, will walk guests through the greens, fruits, and vegetables growing at Rancho Patel as he discusses the life cycle of the farm from seed sourcing to harvesting. Learn about how South Florida’s unique climate and agriculture influence his creations for his various local restaurants. Touch, smell, and taste the herbs, fruits, vegetables, and edible flowers growing on the farm, and enjoy samples and lite bites made with the day’s harvest. Don’t miss this exclusive “farm-to-table” tour led by an award-winning celebrity chef!  

Families with children ages 6+ are welcomed. To ensure guests maximize their experience, advanced registration is required, and capacity will be capped at 20 registrants.

  • Address: 16800 SW 296th Street Homestead, FL 33030
  • Attire and terrain: Guests will be in full sun and walking in dirt and grass. Please dress appropriately, and note that there is no pavement or stepping stones on the property.
  • Restrooms: There are no restrooms available onsite.
  • Food Allergy Notice: Please be advised that the food prepared may contain or may have been made alongside the following: peanuts, tree nuts, soybean, wheat, eggs, dairy, shellfish, and fish.
