Free Family Fun Day: Sounds of Venezuela

Immerse yourself in the sounds, flavors, and traditions of Venezuela! Enjoy bilingual music presentations by artist-in-residence the Henry Linárez Ensemble as well as craft activities, hands-on music making, cuisine, storytelling, and much more, all inspired by Venezuelan culture.
Program Schedule
10:00 am – 3:00 pm – Craft Activities and Hands-on Music Table
11:00 am – Bilingual Story Time
12:00 pm – Interactive Performance with the Henry Linárez Ensemble
1:00 pm – Interactive Music and Drumming Presentation by Afrovenezuela
2:00 pm – Interactive Performance with the Henry Linárez Ensemble

Family Fun Days are possible with the support of the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs, the Cultural Affairs Council, the Mayor and the Board of County Commissioners, the Batchelor Foundation, the Peacock Foundation, and the Miami Downtown Development Authority.
