Performance: Musical Passport to Venezuela

The Henry Linárez Ensemble, HistoryMiami’s artist-in-residence, will take you on a journey through the cities and towns of Venezuela during this special performance of the country’s folk music. Through the sounds of his cuatro, Henry Linárez explores language dialects and music genres from the different regions of Venezuela while discussing the evolution of its traditional music. Come join us for this one-of-a-kind presentation of music, history, and heritage!
