The exhibition, A Century of Girl Scouting in Miami and the Keys, explores the history of the Girl Scouts of Tropical Florida from Alligator Troop 1 in 1923 through today. After an introduction to the council’s history, explore highlights, uniforms, and artifacts of Girl Scouts locally and nationally each decade from the 1920s through the 2010s and beyond. At the entrance to the exhibition will be a QR code you can scan to listen to a special welcome message from Girl Scouts of Tropical Florida Troop 367 and a reusable scavenger hunt that you can complete individually or as a team.
HistoryMiami Museum’s Community Gallery serves as a space for community members to exhibit their Miami stories.
