See Little Havana like a native! Join HistoryMiami Museum on a fascinating tour of one of the world’s largest and best-known Cuban neighborhoods outside of Cuba. View vibrant Calle Ocho; Discover the significance of the Ceiba Tree, learn the art of cigar making, and hear tales of performances by Billie Holiday and Count Basie at the Ball & Chain. Ticket includes complimentary family pass to HistoryMiami Museum.

Hector Ramos-Pupo
Associate of Family Programs

Hector Ramos-Pupo is the Associate of Family Programs at HistoryMiami Museum. His work focuses on developing, managing, and facilitating the museum’s monthly intergenerational programming as well as engaging the public during these events and working to create an open and welcoming environment. First-generation born and raised in Miami to Cuban immigrants; Hector is very passionate and dedicated to serving local communities through his work. He has an Art History degree and has been with HistoryMiami Museum since 2018.

We recommend bringing a water bottle, wearing light clothing, and comfortable shoes for walking. Additional considerations may include: bringing an umbrella and wearing sun protection.
Please meet Museum staff for check-in between 9:30 am – 9:55 am. They will be waiting for you in front of the fruteria.
Parking is available throughout the neighborhood.
The tour will take place on paved sidewalks, which may include uneven terrain.
