Group Tour Experiences

HistoryMiami Museum welcomes adult groups to explore the museum’s exhibitions on self-guided and guided tour experiences. Reserve a private tour with a Museum Educator for adult groups of 10 or more or book a self-guided experience at a discounted rate for groups of 15 or more.

For reservations, please complete our online request form at least four weeks prior to your preferred dates. You will receive an email confirming your reservation. For cancellations, changes to your reservation, or additional information, contact City Tours at programs@historymiami.org or call (305) 375-1629. Advance reservations are required for both guided and self-guided adult group visits.

Guided Tour Experiences

Experience the Museum on a guided highlights tour with your group! Led by a Museum Educator, these thematic tours provide special insight into the Museum’s exhibitions. Enjoy thought-provoking discussion and opportunities to engage with the Museum’s education objects collection. Participants will come away with a deeper understanding of Miami and its history. Guided tour experiences are offered for up to 1-hour.

Tropical Dreams: A People’s History of South Florida Highlights Tour

Delve into the history of South Florida to explore how intrepid people from various backgrounds have come to call the area home. Hear the stories of Native Americans, women, Black and Afro-Caribbean, and Latinx/Hispanic communities. Highlights from the exhibition include a dire wolf skull and a 1920s trolley.

Self-Guided Visits

Groups are welcome to discover the Museum at their own pace. There is no time limit on your visit. Please note advance reservations for self-guided visits of groups 15 or more are required to receive the group rate.

Guided tour experiences facilitated by a Museum Educator are available for $25 per person for groups of 10 or more participants.

Guided tour experiences facilitated by a Museum Educator are available for Senior Groups at a discounted rate of $15 per person for groups of 10 or more participants. Senior group rates are available for seniors 65 and older.

Guided tours are available for groups of 10 or more. For groups larger than 25, participants will be asked to split into smaller groups before entering the galleries.
Self-guided experiences are available at a discounted rate for groups of 15 or more. Advance reservations are required to receive the discounted group rate.
